Chamber 43, Vinyl & The Pandemic

2020 arrived on the eve of the last faint ticks in the hourglass of humanity’s collective sanity, falling swiftly between our fingers like a recently dried block of sand, now crushed beneath the pressure of our grasp. It’s revelation; clear. We have never had “it” together. The fabric, essence, and very “glue" that refines the human experience, functioning within a post-human world, has been challenged, forever, by what is known to us as COVID-19. It discriminates against no-one, has no care for our accomplishments and will eventually, leave us even swifter than it arrived. And yet, while we may not be able to see COVID-19, it is tangible. COVID-19 darkens our skies with gloom, as we stare at it’s giant mirror for us to reflect upon. How do we come back from this? What will happen to the global economy? How will families bounce back? What will become of the rich? The poor? The homeless? What will become of corporations, and small businesses? And, ultimately, is our mandate to stay home actually improving the planet? While we are still in the early phases of this pandemic, the answers will become clearer as the virus advances. We will persevere. I can however, answer one question. That question is simple. What is the role of Chamber 43, & vinyl, in this pandemic?
